Derrik Deyhimi

Derrik Deyhimi currently serves as Managing Partner of KBH Capital. Mr. Deyhimi has been in the technology industry for over 30 years.

Mr. Deyhimi has been in the compensation industry, helping companies incent their workforce to perform, since 1997. Mr. Deyhimi has built sevensuccessful and profitable technology software and services companies throughout his career. Mr. Deyhimi has led organizations as large as $100MM in revenues with over 600 employees worldwide. He has successfully stepped in and turned around financially troubled organizations and has successfully launched many start-ups.

Formerly, Mr. Deyhimi led Iconixx Corporation as its Chairman and CEO. In this capacity, Deyhimi brought strong leadership and vision to the organization and more than 20 years’ experience profitably growing both software and services companies. Under his leadership Iconixx was awarded the FastTech 50 award in both 2005 and 2007. Iconixx was sold to Moxie Software backed by Hummer Winblad, Foundation Capital and Oak Investment Partners in a strategic acquisition valued at over 20x operating profits.

Mr. Deyhimi was also the Founder and Chairman of nCent Software, a cutting edge sales performance management and incentive compensation management system. While running the company fiscally lean, Mr. Deyhimi’s vision guided nCent Software from start up to an industry leading technology in rapid time. Mr. Deyhimi was able to successfully sell nCent for 10x invested capital in less than 2 years from investment.

Mr. Deyhimi founded and served as CEO and President of EnterpriseWorks, a Houston-based business application, integration, and professional services firm. Under his leadership, EnterpriseWorks was featured on Entrepreneur Magazine’s 5th Annual Hot 100 List and was recognized as one of the “Top 10” fastest growing companies in Houston in 2000. Mr. Deyhimi sold EnterpriseWorks to Thayer Capital as part of a private equity rollup strategy for 60X invested capital within 30 months from initial investment.

Mr. Deyhimi has authored multiple best-selling technical books, which have been translated to both Chinese and Japanese. Mr. Deyhimi serves on the School of Information Advisory Council at the University of Texas at Austin and has been a member of the Houston Technology Center Mentor Network. He has also been recognized as an Alumni Leader at the University of Houston’s Bauer College of Business and has been a guest speaker at the University of Texas Graduate School of Business and numerous technology and business conferences.

Mr. Deyhimi has also been nominated for the Texas top 10 eCommerce leaders. Mr. Deyhimi’s companies have been awarded as the fastest growing technology companies in the country. Mr. Deyhimi was an E&Y entrepreneur of the year finalist for Houston in 2008. Mr. Deyhimi also serves on the board of the Congressional Schools of Virginia and in his spare time he trains and competes in marathons and Ironman Triathlons.

Mr. Deyhimi attended holds a BA degree from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA degree from the University of Houston. Mr. Deyhimi also attended Columbia University in New York toward his MS in Computer Science.
